peer groups to be formed for IT / technology, education and construction / engineering recruiters Date Posted: 22/10/2008

We are currently in the process of forming a "Peer Group" of companies for each of three different recruitment sectors:

  • IT / technology

  • education

  • construction / engineering

  • As part of each group, the companies involved will receive our monthly general recruitment report

In addition, on a quarterly basis, each member would recieve a sector specific PowerPoint report covering elements to be agreed by the peer group itself. Some sections of the quarterly report would appear each quarter while some would be annual features dependant upon the release of data.

    Contents currently intended include:

    Sector Staff in Focus:

supply analysis of latest government, professional body & any industry data on staff numbers, job category and skill trends in an agreed list of candidate markets with anecdotal additives obtained from industry feedback where appropriate.

Peer Group Sector Recruitment Company News and Financials:

tables incorporating concise analysis based upon corporate announcements & analyst presentations / conference calls for all the main listed professional recruitment agencies with UK interests. To monitor all peer group members plus key additional competitors in the financial staffing sector "top 10" covering:

  • company overview including: market niches, strategic direction, company structure, size, market share estimate, etc.
  • "who's who" of main shareholders and directors
  • company financials and analysis of / reasons behind growth / decline
  • Other possible annual features include:

  • key financial measures benchmarked from annual accounts / quarterly results
